Take some free time on my weekend to do this quick and short post. Many of you probably know there are Microsoft Windows and Apple Macosx but do not aware of there is actually one operating system known as Ubuntu.

Ubuntu is a linux based OS, linux is some sort of open source thingy which can be compiled into working OS. There are lots of other linux OS out there but Ubuntu just stands out among them as it is more user friendly compared to others. I have been missing in action for few days because my exam started on mid of April. Well i am still a student so i will not be able to update my blog so frequent until early of May.

There is no much time for me to search for new wallpapers around. So i was looking through my archive and found these wallpapers. Just some wallpapers from different racing game. All cars are 3d-rendered so there is no real car image in these wallpapers. =P

Just another nostalgic post -pokemon my childhood memory. It is pretty hard to find quality pokemon wallpapers because majority of pokemon supporter are kind of young. They are either kids or teenagers. So there are only very few skillful one who can produce good artwork for pokemon. Almost 80% of the wallpapers i have found on the internet does not meet my own requirement.

It took me quite some time to find these wallpapers. Please don't complain about the lack of variety of pokemons as it is very difficult to find a good wallpaper that fit my choice. Among these wallpapers, there are some marked with the pokemon number in pokedex which i think is quite neat and brings back lots of old memory to me.

So many big names are soon to be released recently. Starcraft 2 is another title which i have kept my eyes on it for a long time. The old Starcraft: Broodwar is one of the best strategy game ever, even now i still play it occasionally. The graphics is sort of outdated and this new title just come in time to satisfy all the blizzard/starcraft fans out there.

Now, it is known that Starcraft 2 will be splitted into three installments: the base game with the subtitle Wings of Liberty, and two expansion packs, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void.

Super Street Fighter IV windows 7 theme

Is there anyone who are anticipating the arrival of the latest street fighter game? I have tried street fighter IV on console and iphone they are pretty good. The moves are sleek, the graphics and the calligraphic art style are also big plus for the game. The new super street fighter IV is going to be released in April which is this month!

Windows 7 Taskbar speed hack (one click open program)

Windows 7 taskbar is a great improvement of windows OS, but have you ever encounter a situation where multiple instances of a same program is running eg. 2 word files opened under Microsoft Word, you have got to either click twice or hover to navigate to an open windows.

This hack will allow you to open last active window when you first click on the taskbar icon instead of pop up the preview. Here goes:
 

1. First open up your 'Start', type regedit.exe and hit enter
2. Then navigate to left side and go to ' HKEY_CURRENT_USER' >'Software'>'Microsoft'>'Windows'>'CurrentVersion'>'Explorer'>'Advanced'
3. Go to top menu bar 'Edit'>'New'>DWORD(32-bit)
4. Name the value you added just now to LastActiveClick
5. Hit enter and assign the value to 1
6. Restart your windows 7 and check out the result.

If you not satisfy with the result simply delete the registry to revert this setting and restart again.

p/s: Above hack is especially good when combine with another trick which speed up preview time, go to following:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse\MouseHoverTime.

1. Double click on MouseHoverTime or right click modify and change value from 400 to any value less then 100. ( Lower value = faster preview).
2. Click OK and close regedit.exe.
